Our Wings Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" This Organization is dedicated to the Pravasis of Anthiyoorkunnu-Pulikkal Region. Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" has been started in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 07 July 2006 by some of founder members headed by Mr. Shamsudheen Kakkanattu. Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" will function as a secular group without any religious or political affiliations in India or abroad. Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" will function under the Advisory Board of Founder Member’s elite body headed by Mr. Shamsudheen Kakkanattu. Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" will have three wings designated for three distinct services as follows: Each Wing will have the executive committee and sub committees to run the day to day business to reach the goal.  CULTURAL WING  WELFARE WING  ECONOMIC WING    CULTURAL WING The Cultural Wing of  Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" will have its own cultural wing known as KALIKKALAM Kalikkalam will be located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It will dedicate its activities for the benefit of Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" and their families to develop and perform cultural, sports, games and arts among its members and the Pravasi community. Kalikkalam will organize programs to promote traditional values of India among the community.    WELFARE WING Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" will be having its own welfare wing and is known as SANTHWANAM. Santhwanam will work to identify the poorest of the poor working class among Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" members and study their problems and give proper guidance. Santhwanam will create helpline for them to talk and relax when they are in distress. Santhwanam will conduct seminars for the needy Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" members about the awareness of health care and day to day life style for their self protection. Santhwanam will conduct medical seminars to get the medical checkup for the needy Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" members with the help of local polyclinics. Arrange insurance policy for the needy people to protect their families back home incase if any thing happened (insha Allah, nothing will happen) to the person. In case of death, Santhwanam will render help and support to send the body to India, if found eligible. Sanhwanam will try and organize to look after the welfare of the Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" members and their families residing in and around Jeddah. Santhwanam will initiate concerted efforts to provide humanitarian help to the Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" members and their families when the necessity arises. Santhwanam will arrange to send back home the terminally ill people, if found eligible. All welfare support will be based on the eligibility recommended by screening committee and approved by the central committee with proper investigations and supported documents only.    ECONOMIC WING Organize meetings and explore business opportunities for the development of Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" members abroad and back home. Organize and implement welfare and rehabilitation projects for the Arena Pravasi "Koottayma" members return back home.
